We will investigate presentation tools such as Pecha Kucha, Prezi, Xtranormal, Glogster,and iPhoto. Participants will learn what is available, how to use these resources and how to encourage students to move out of the comfort zone of PowerPoint to create more engaging presentations.

Pecha Kucha 20/20
- use ppt program to create image-only slides
- use recorded or spoken narration as slides play
- I have modified the format for my classes (i.e. had students include only 10 slides) to fit time constraints

You can use iPhoto to create slideshows from pictures. You can drag and drop photos into place, add text and music. These are easily shared to Facebook, Twitter, via email, etc.
